STEPPED CHEVRON FIELD
Tonal sequence in horizontal progression
EARTH-TONES
DETAIL
A continuous stepped zigzag unfolds across the surface in horizontal bands. Tonal variation within a restricted chromatic range generates rhythm and optical depth. The pattern operataes as an extended field, emphazasing lateral movement and sustained visual flow.
This structural rhythm references pre-Columbian stepped motifs with chromatic contrast. Its execution by Iskonawa artisans situates the design within a living Amazonian textile practice that also engages modular and geometric abstraction.
