Genes x Anima
Our first collaboration ever!
The Rio Choker has been made in collaboration with Genes, a Peruvian high-quality knitwear brand, committed with sustainability and artisanal processes.
It has been handcrafted with glass beads and Rosario seeds by Shipibo Conibo women artisans from the Cantagallo community, with whom we work closely to create many of our timeless pieces. They are located alongside the Rimac River in Lima.
Genes was looking to expand their universe through an accessory that could embody its spirit and represent its values, so after different trials and adjustments, together we came up with this stunning, elegant and versatile piece.
Its shape is inspired by the DNA chain that gives form to Genes logo, its adjustable and, as many Genes pieces, it can be used in two different ways: with the knot at the back and at the front.
